1. Operator and scope
These terms govern your use of Learning Companion, operated by GenerationX Technology Ltd. Contact gxtechuk@gmail.com for support, complaints or contractual questions. The app provides educational micro-learning, learning journeys, quizzes, an optional overlay bubble and online AI-assisted content. These terms apply alongside the purchase terms presented by Google Play. Our Privacy Policy explains personal-data handling; it is not a request for blanket consent.

2. Eligibility and your account
The public service is for people aged 18 or older. Provide accurate account information and keep your email, device and verification codes secure. Do not share an account or impersonate someone else. You remain responsible for activity you authorise through your account; contact us promptly about suspected unauthorised access. Do not send passwords or verification codes to support.

3. Access and subscriptions
A valid subscription or eligible trial is required for the subscription features. Premium and Premium Plus have different allowances and trigger features. The app's plan description and Google Play purchase screen identify the benefits and limitations for the offer you select. Online suggested-journey activation and custom online creation share the daily online allowance; offline creation has a separate allowance. Interest updates and suggestion replacement also have limits. An allowance is not a guarantee of unlimited AI availability or transferability to another account.
Before you confirm a purchase, the purchase screen shows the actual price, billing period, trial eligibility and charge after any trial. Google Play's displayed offer and confirmation control the amount charged, including applicable taxes and currency. Trials are available only where Google Play confirms eligibility. An eligible trial automatically becomes the selected paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Weekly and annual plans recur at the period and price shown at purchase, subject to Google's applicable notification/consent requirements for price changes. Manage or cancel through the app's subscription controls or https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions . Uninstalling the app, signing out or requesting account deletion does not cancel renewal. Cancellation normally stops the next renewal while access continues for the paid period, unless Google Play or applicable law provides otherwise.
Use Restore Purchase to recheck an eligible existing purchase against the relevant Google Play and Learning Companion accounts. Do not purchase again merely because a verification or network check is pending; contact support if access is not restored.

4. Refunds and cancellation rights
You retain all mandatory consumer rights. Refunds and statutory cancellation rights depend on your country, the purchase and applicable Google Play rules. You can request a refund through Google Play and contact us for assistance. These terms do not impose a blanket no-refund rule or assume that using the app alone waives any cooling-off right. If you request immediate supply of digital content, any loss of a statutory cooling-off right applies only where the required express consent and acknowledgement have been obtained. These terms alone do not waive that right. No clause here removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

5. Educational and AI content
AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased or outdated. Check important facts independently. Content is for general learning, not professional medical, legal, financial or other regulated advice, and not for emergencies or high-stakes decisions. We do not guarantee learning outcomes or unique AI output. Offline content and AI services may have different availability and coverage. Do not enter sensitive, confidential or third-party personal information into AI requests without a lawful basis and authority to do so.
You retain any rights you have in material you submit. You give us the limited permission needed to process it to provide and secure the requested service, including through the providers described in the Privacy Policy. This is not a transfer of ownership. Use of generated material remains subject to applicable third-party rights and law.

6. Permissions and safe use
Optional overlay, Accessibility and Usage Access features require your Android settings choices and any separate disclosures/consent the feature needs. You may turn them off; corresponding trigger functionality may then stop. Do not use overlays while driving, operating machinery or where they may interfere with safety-critical tasks. You control when to engage with a learning prompt.

7. Acceptable use and ownership
Use the app lawfully and for its intended personal learning purpose. Do not attack the service, bypass authentication, interfere with other accounts, evade subscription limits, resell access, submit unlawful or abusive content, or infringe others' rights. Reverse engineering restrictions apply only to the extent permitted by law and do not remove statutory rights.
The app software, branding and curated learning materials belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, personal right to use them through the app while you are entitled to do so. Do not redistribute protected content commercially without permission. Nothing prevents a use that the law expressly allows.

8. Availability, updates and suspension
Internet, provider capacity, verification and device compatibility affect the service. We may provide maintenance, security updates and reasonable changes, but do not promise uninterrupted access. We will not use this clause to remove your mandatory rights or retrospectively reduce paid benefits without an appropriate remedy. Material changes affecting a paid service will be communicated with any legally required notice, choice or refund.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, fraud, security incidents or legal requirements. Where lawful and practical, we will explain the restriction and provide a way to contact us. We may end the service with reasonable notice and any remedy required for unused paid access. Necessary updates may be required to continue secure use.

9. Ending your account
You can stop using the app and request account deletion through account settings or https://learning-companion-account-deletion.mizanurrahmanshakil.chatgpt.site/ . Ownership verification and processing may be required. Consult the Privacy Policy for retained records and local-copy limitations. Cancel Google Play renewal separately. Deletion can permanently remove your learning history; it does not prevent exercise of consumer rights.

10. Responsibility and consumer protection
We are responsible for losses caused by our breach of these terms to the extent required by applicable law. We do not exclude liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your statutory rights concerning reasonable care and skill, satisfactory digital content, remedies and refunds continue to apply. Nothing in these terms limits those mandatory protections. You should take reasonable steps to avoid preventable losses, such as securing your account and not relying on AI for high-stakes advice.

11. Complaints, governing law and changes
Contact gxtechuk@gmail.com with a description of the issue and a non-sensitive purchase reference where relevant. Do not send full payment-card details. We will investigate and explain the available next steps. These terms do not require binding arbitration or prevent contacting a regulator or court.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to the mandatory protections and jurisdiction rights available in your country of residence. You may bring consumer proceedings in any court available to you under mandatory law.
We may update these terms for legal, security or service changes. We will explain material changes and obtain agreement where required; an update does not retrospectively remove accrued rights. If a change is unacceptable, you may stop using the app and cancel renewal, with any additional remedies required by law. You can save this version using Share in the document viewer.
